Since Creation is, along with scripture, one of the books that reveal God, let us step back and consider with wonder the scale of this God.
Think big: the cosmos stretches some 93 billion light years across. Can we even imagine the size of this universe?? --- this universe which is our home and our source, literally, ("we are made of star stuff" - Carl Sagan).
Think small: The smallest measurement used in Physics is the Planck length. To imagine this length, imagine taking a one inch piece of paper and cutting it in half. Then take that half piece of paper and cut it in half. To reach a Planck length, you would repeat this process more than 30 times. Can we even imagine ....?
We humans,
here in our familiar world,
here between the unimaginably large
and unimaginably small edges of creation,
- we can be grateful
and wonder in amazement
at life's reality
that we have been gifted.

Respond
Today, think big and think small.
Let your recognition & your gratitude
rest and savor:
big and small gifts in your life.
